you have no idea the amount of fucking pain and suffering that goes into rooting a stock o9p chinese variant

i lost years of my life putting that firmware on there

@nellePoint I had a op7t from china and it was perfectly normal, you could just install any regional OTA on it
did something change since then?

@novenary was running colorOS notably

but originally i wanted oxygenOS

i really dont remember the details its been years, but i vaguely remember it being necessary, and Not just an easy ota flash via fastboot or recovery
