hi fedi creatures who do the musics
trying to figure out what i want to listen to
looking for a particular vibe
i want suggestions

i need like, high-energy music, like could be fun, could be a bop, could be shit that makes you lock the fuck in. that's what im looking for. maybe something that'd be played at like a club or rave?

I don't really wannya listen to """normal people music""" rn tho, if I wanted that I could just put on like an 80's hits playlist or something.

in terms of """ normal people music """ that I like, I like a lot of the popular hits from the decades but especially the 80's. it just seems more fun and synth based to me I think? i think "new wave" was a genre i picked out from the 80's music I particularly liked.

moving into a little less normal, uhhh, idk, something like 90's-early 2000's video game music? breakbeat is a genre that rings a bell. i liked music that i believe was made exclusively for DDR and have fond memories of listening to DDR playlists. I like the Sonic Rush OST and other stuff from Hideki Nyaganuma.

there's some electronic dance music that i like that I can't even think of off the top of my head.

I asked a friend for some high energy music recommendation and she said Femtanyl, she likes the chaser ep. I gave that a listen and I feel like I'm making progress but this isn't quite what I'm looking for. It definitely has the energy but it's too noisy for me. Like I'm not opposed to something that has a lot going on, is very complex, and could even be described as overstimulating, but like, idk noisyness is not the complexity I want to hear, if that makes sense.

Any recommendations? preferably multiple songs (like an album or playlist)

EDIT: I think the vibe for me rn is definitely more electronic, like the best luck I've had so far is breakcore/DnB/jungle stuff, but open to other genres. So yeah, high energy and electronic i guess.

@kix3n how do you feel about like, 90s japanese rock?

because i generally listen to Number Girl or MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS (delusionalism, world is yours, she is inside, he is outside, ) for that sort of thing.

theres also vivivivivi for a more experimental type beat (credits song for my death, mewlzebub)

@kix3n haru nemuri (rock 'n' roll wa shinannai, narashite) comes to mind for j-rock as well, kinokoteikoku (eureka album), sheena ringo (迷彩), Doddodo (exciseise of mouth), the pillows (LAST DINOSAUR), and definitely ミドリ (ひみつの2人、ゆきこさん),

no new world, asahinagu, from mass of the fermenting dregs
