@nellePoint I have 2 cameras rn: - a Canon A495 which has little practical use but can run CHDK which means it's fun to fuck around with, even got an odd 3.15V power supply for it so I can fuck around with it without needing to use AA batteries that it drains really fast (guessing that the battery level indicator is callibrated for alkaline and not NiMH, idk) - a Nikon D80 with >80k shutter count that I salvaged after it died on my parents, with 2 working lenses, a 70-300mm sigma which sometimes just disconnects from the camera until you shift it in the mount a little, and a 35mm f1.8 prime which seems to get wrong exposure metering (idk if it's the lens or the camera), also have a battery grip for it which is neat for the second shutter and can alternatively take 6xAA batteries instead of 1-2x of the specific ones for that model
I really wanna get a used D5100 because the flip out screen would let me take more photos in the "camera almost touching ground" perspective, however I'm too broke and also it couldn't do AF on the telemacro sigma cause that one needs the camera body to have an AF motor (tbf that kind of AF isn't the greatest so I'll take MF with live view, the only kinds of photos where it would get in the way I can still use the D80 for)
@lunareclipse i have a canon EOS T5i, a few weird odd cameras, and my favorite, the sony DCS-F717, this line if cybershots had a rotating body/lens so you can get tilt shots like you can with a swiveling display.
its old, but i love it. at least, i did until it broke last week, going to be getting a DCS-828 this time around
