the situation
HR rep came and asked us all if we were okay, brought treats.couple coworkers called out because they didnt want to come down here
couple coworkers were late because the campus was on lockdown
i found out while i was at the station on my way to the area, all i heard was "there was a shooting at UVU" a few streets away from where i work.
understandably i was unsure whether to even go down for work, i had to look into it just to find out if itd be safe. i decided id be safe, but in the process i watched a video of a sight no normal person should see but ive seen similar many times in my life.
apparently they have just been apprehended down the street and the road is blocked, i might have to take an alternate route home.
while he was an absolute piece of shit, i do not think it is wrong to say or think that nonviolent solutions are far better than violent ones, and even though nobody else was shot, many will be traumatized and many are affected.
now the entire world has their eyes on the area i live and work in, everything seems uneasy, i hate it.
