@nellePoint It usually indicates poor availability internationally and a lack of an external editing pass. Any publishing houses worth their salt (which is, of course, hardly all of them, but the ones with the good books do) have good editors on staff, which do wonders for understandability, clarity and overall quality of the book.
Now, for fiction, this matters less, but I'm also not interested in fiction.
