@nellePoint If anything I think they're playing it way too safe with the changes

@nellePoint I think what people miss are those indie-style changes where they weren't afraid of experimenting

@natty @nellePoint yea tbh when they implemented shit like enderchests I think everyone liked that

would honestly love if they gone the way of coming up with some magic or electricity and shit, that could both be used by mods but also be fun on it's own

like, they implemented copper and then... done nothing with it

@nellePoint is it the baby animal models? (that's the only new stuff I saw pass by on that snapshot changelog)

@lykrast right now yes, but in general it does not matter what happens in an update, every update, there is complaining about it being minecrafts downfall.

which to me seems silly considering minecraft is the most moddable game in history.

@nellePoint tbf the 1.21 port threadmill sounded fucking miserable from all these update helpers ("sounded" cause I had no motivation to deal with it and stayed on 1.20.1)

the features for vanilla look neat tho

@nellePoint I mean given the proportion of modder to modded players to non modded players I'm sure most people did not know about the internal changes and just had the cool features
