@solonovamax @ezra tbh im not a fan of how the mpv UX is, the mouse and keyboard controls are a bit odd

@nellePoint @ezra I mean it's not like that complicated

there's basically just 3 keybinds I remember:
speed up video ("]")
slow down video ("[")
show video information (you don't actually need this one basically every tbh, I just like pressing it lol) ("i")

all the other ones are obvious/I already know (bc they're common in other programs)
arrow keys for moving forwards/backwards (all other media players use this)
./, to step one frame forwards/backwards (youtube also uses this)
q/ctrl+c to exit
spacebar to pause (all other media players use this)

@solonovamax one keybind new is one too many, majority of users, myself included, dont want to learn new things all the time.

i need to be able to configure subtitles frequently as well as audio tracks.

honestly just because it may be "simple" does not mean it is good design.

@solonovamax software i use needs to get out of my way, i already spent years learning linux, i just want to use my computer at this point, not continue to learn it
