alright after some issues with audio (needed to set proton ge 11-5), ive cleared the prologue
thoughts so far, theyve definitely added some extra lines here, specifically making okabe more suspicious about the suzuha appearance, the kurisu encounter, and whether or not he saw kurisu dead or stabbed.
theyve also slightly changed some lingo usage and things he says about mayuri.
the observer button appears to show you the current divergence meter reading, and the rough events on the timeline, very interested to see how this feature will progress when things split around especially during the mayuri death blitz.

hm, so with the phone, in the original game when you are prompted to call or email somebody you have to pull out the phone and navigate there yourself. also while typing the email replies sometimes you have to press the button to continue writing. and when you reply to an email you can check the contents of the reply before hitting send and go back to the old reply.
in elite, you are given essentially no control over anything except for which reply to send.
in this its much like the original title, however when okabe calls or emails somebody he just kinda does it, no user prompt. and you cannot check reply contents before sending, if you select an option and hit reply then its done, youre sending that reply.
annoyed by this.
